PHYLLIS WARD
 Experience: Almost seven years as agentwoman and I’ve been very lucky. I’ve been a top-producer since my very first year and last year was the second highest selling agent of Coldwell Banker Harbour Realty's 70 agents.
Biography: I started out in life as a college teacher, and a well traveled educational consultant, then media director for a small school district, then media director for a psychiatric hospital --where I learned all the important things I know about leadership.
I then became a TV producer/director/writer in Washington, D.C. and Baltimore, then started my own production company and traveled the world for 25 years making films for just about every network out there--- and meeting lots of incredible people along the way. I am most proud of winning a Dupont-Columbia Journalism Award for a documentary I produced on the baby boom generation and how they change America at every life stage they enter. This award is the television equivalent of the Pulitzer Prize.
My husband Michael and I moved to the shore from D.C. ten years ago with plans to continue making films. Which we did for 3 years. But after 9/11 traveling the world became much more difficult and TV a lot less fun. And so agentwoman was born.
Related Experience: 25 years of interviewing people of accomplishment around the world has hopefully made me an interesting person myself. As a hospice volunteer I’m constantly humbled by the power of a good life story. Still working on mine but coming to the shore was my best decision so far. Of all the magical places I’ve been this is one of the most magical. I thought I’d like it here but I like it even more than that.

Philosophy: Since the shore is such a special place I really don’t sell real estate as much as I help people decide if the shore is for them. If this place speaks to you then finding a house is just a detail. And I’m great at details.
